Jumbo Hostel, Sweden
We all know it can be hard to get a good night’s sleep on a plane… but not on this one! The legendary Jumbo Hostel in Stockholm is a functioning Boeing 747 Jetliner that has been fully converted into a hotel. With a luxury suite in the cockpit, there are also showers, a 24 hour café, snacks served on the wing and a total of 25 bedrooms on board. The plane itself is permanently grounded just outside the airport and the cockpit suite offers panoramic views of the runway – every plane spotter’s dream!
